Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- must pass pre-employment drug screening
- valid Class A commercial driver license
- clean driving record
- ability to read and speak English
- physical ability to lift, push, or move freight weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A commercial driver license with clean driving record
- preferred doubles/triples endorsement
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs
- good communication skills
- physical ability to handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
Job Duties
- operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently between SYGMA facilities and shuttle yards
- pick up backhauls to optimize logistics
- unload and deliver products to customer locations on assigned routes as needed
- adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance standards
- maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- perform vehicle inspections and report any issues
- participate in ongoing training and development
