The Madison Concourse Hotel currently seeks a Part-Time Bell Person to join its Bell Services team to deliver superior guest service. This role is integral in making an immediate positive impression on guests, as the Bell Person acts as the first point of contact, greeting visitors with warmth and professionalism. The position is part-time with a wage structure based on an attractive combination of base pay plus tips, averaging between $15 and $19 per hour and a guaranteed minimum wage of up to $16.50 per hour. Candidate availability particularly for flexible weekend scheduling including both Saturdays and Sundays is essential, with shift hours varying from early morning as 7:00 a.m. to as late as 11:00 p.m. based on business demand.

In this role, bell staff are entrusted with critical duties including guest transportation; they shuttle guests to popular downtown destinations while also acting as local guides, offering recommendations and insider tips to enhance their experience. Assistance with luggage handling is another key responsibility: the Bell Person helps guests load, unload, store, and transport their belongings safely to their rooms. The role requires maintaining a visible and approachable presence in the lobby, ensuring guests feel promptly welcomed and valued from arrival to departure. Team members provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and events, enriching the guest experience. Additionally, the position demands a steadfast adherence to safety protocols to guarantee the comfort and safety of all guests during transportation and luggage handling. Candidates with a valid driver’s license are preferred, with CDL licensure considered an advantage but not mandatory, thus broadening accessibility to applicants with diverse driving qualifications.
