This position is for a Shuttle Driver based in Chesapeake, supporting the US Foods distribution network by transporting tractor trailers loaded with various food products between remote dispatch sites. This role is pivotal in maintaining smooth logistics and delivery processes essential to the company’s mission of GREAT FOOD. MADE EASY™. Shuttle Drivers play a critical role as ambassadors of the company, both on and off the road, ensuring timely and safe transport of products critical to customer operations. As a Shuttle Driver, individuals will be compensated competitively, starting at $25.00 per hour during training with the opportunity to earn up to $75,000 annually including incentives. The role requires physical stamina, attention to safety protocols, and the flexibility to work overnight. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Registered to the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of commercial driving experience
- Doubles endorsement required
- Comfortable working overnight
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred

Job Duties
- Safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites
- May be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver
- Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection
- Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
- Follow all company policies and procedures
