The opportunity available at the Colorado Springs Marriott is for a Bell Attendant, a highly motivated role within the Guest Services team. This position is perfect for individuals who excel at creating memorable first impressions and enjoy engaging with guests from diverse backgrounds. The Bell Attendant welcomes guests as they arrive, assists with unloading their luggage, and provides valuable information about the hotel amenities and local attractions. This role goes beyond typical guest service by aiming to "WOW" guests through personalized and attentive interaction.

As a Bell Attendant, you will help guests discover their "Wanderlust" experience by providing exceptional customer service and sincere engagement. You will greet every guest warmly, assist with door opening for arrivals by motor vehicle, accompany guests to the front desk, and escort them along with their luggage to their rooms. During this process, you will also orient guests about the hotel’s features and share interesting details to enhance their stay. Team collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other attendants to ensure every guest feels special and receives a personalized experience. Your responsibilities also include assisting lobby attendants in maintaining a clean and organized entrance area, and consistently going above and beyond standard duties to make a meaningful impact on both guests and fellow employees.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year experience in customer service
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • team player with a positive attitude
  • physical ability to handle luggage and assist guests
  • willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year in a customer service role with high guest interaction
