The Parking Spot is a leading company in the travel industry with over 25 years of experience, proudly recognized as the largest near-airport parking company in the United States. With a dedicated team of more than 2,000 employees spread across over 40 locations nationwide, The Parking Spot has established itself as a trusted provider of convenient and reliable airport parking solutions. What sets The Parking Spot apart is its Employee Ownership Program, which provides every team member an opportunity to have a direct financial stake in the company’s ongoing success. This unique business model fosters a culture of shared ownership, accountability, and pride among the team, leading to exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
The Parking Spot's commitment to inclusion and diversity is central to its values, embracing individuals from diverse backgrounds and communities. The company emphasizes treating all employees, partners, and customers with dignity and respect, actively standing against racism and discrimination. By intentionally developing diverse teams, The Parking Spot ensures equal opportunities for all voices to be heard and creates an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. Continuous learning, growth, and development are encouraged to maintain a dynamic work environment within the travel industry.
Currently, The Parking Spot is looking to hire full-time Shuttle Drivers (Non-CDL) to join their team, specifically for mid and overnight shifts. Shuttle Drivers play an essential role in the daily operations by safely transporting customers between parking facilities and airport terminals, providing a courteous and pleasant customer experience. The role requires a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and customer service while demonstrating knowledge of the facility and airport terminals. Besides driving responsibilities, Shuttle Drivers may also cross-train for other frontline positions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.
The position offers a competitive pay rate of $13 per hour, plus tips—both cash and mobile—and regular bonus opportunities for eligible team members. The company values consistent schedules and offers training and professional development to support career growth. Eligible employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plans, paid time off, vacation pay, and paid holidays. The Parking Spot also provides standout candidates the unique advantage of receiving conditional offers immediately following their interview, reflecting their commitment to hiring and retaining top talent.
In summary, this Shuttle Driver position at The Parking Spot is ideal for individuals who are at least 21 years old, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a clean driving record. Previous driving or customer service experience is preferred. The role demands a willingness to comply with all driving regulations and airport requirements, including passing physical exams and maintaining the necessary licenses and badges for commercial vehicle operation. Physical capability to lift luggage and excellent English communication skills are also important. By joining The Parking Spot, employees become part of a dedicated team that delivers safe, friendly, and efficient service to airport guests while contributing to the company’s employee-owned success story.
