The role of Driver at TransWest is a critical position that plays a vital part in the day-to-day success of the company. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting business clients along scheduled routes, ensuring a seamless and welcoming commuting experience. This job requires a strong focus on safety and professionalism and offers paid training for obtaining a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement, further enabling career advancement within the company.

In this role, you will conduct daily vehicle inspections to maintain safety and operational standards, fuel vehicles as needed, and uphold cleanliness standards for the assigned vehicles. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • 6 months of professional driving experience
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test
  • Able to communicate proficiently in English
  • Able to work independently yet be able to take direction
  • Employment contingent on background check
  • Current or active DOT medical card (can be obtained during hiring process)

Job Duties

  • Transport business clients to and from scheduled routes safely and reliably
  • conduct daily vehicle safety checks on assigned vehicles and report any defects in a timely manner
  • complete all required operations documentation fully and accurately daily
  • create a welcoming environment and deliver seamless experience for corporate commuters
  • perform DOT daily inspections on assigned equipment and fuel equipment as necessary
  • provide excellent customer service in every interaction
  • maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • other duties as assigned
