The Parking Spot is a leading company in the near-airport parking industry with over 25 years of experience and more than 2,000 dedicated team members nationwide. The role of the Shuttle Driver is essential within The Parking Spot's operations. Working on a part-time basis with flexible shifts, this position is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and efficient transportation of customers between parking facilities and airport terminals. Shuttle Drivers are the face of the company for many customers, often shaping a guest's first and last experiences when traveling. This makes the ability to deliver excellent customer service, demonstrate professional behavior, and support a welcoming environment central to success in this role. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $15 per hour plus tips that include cash and mobile options, along with regular opportunities to earn additional bonuses. Through regular schedules and support from a professional team, Shuttle Drivers are given the tools and training necessary to excel and grow within the company.
Shuttle Drivers are entrusted with ensuring passengers’ safety during transit, adhering to all safe driving practices, and maintaining thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles. Highlighted responsibilities also include providing assistance with luggage, knowledge of the airport terminals and parking facility, and cooperating closely with other team members to enhance guest experiences. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- high school education or equivalent
- previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
- currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
- currently holds the applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle
- must be willing to pass a physical as part of the selection process as required by airport, federal DOT and/or state regulations
- can read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records in compliance with the DOT regulations that require these skills
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with luggage with or without an accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- high school education or equivalent
- previous driver and/or customer service experience preferred
- currently holds and is able to maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Employee Handbook
- currently holds the applicable licenses or badges as required by governing authorities to operate a commercial vehicle

Job Duties
- Safely transport up to 15 passengers to and from the airport terminal and TPS parking locations while adhering to all safe driving practices
- perform the appropriate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- greet each customer with a smile, offering to assist with their luggage
- provide pleasant customer service
- demonstrate knowledge of the facility and airport terminals
- cooperate with all team members to provide the best possible service
- may cross-train for other frontline positions as directed by management
- comply with all applicable regulations and requirements governing operation of commercial vehicles
- perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management
