This family-owned business has grown to become one of the largest food and beverage distributors in the United States, renowned for its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and community support. The company operates through two primary divisions: its Food Division, which is a comprehensive broad line multi-state distributor, and its Beverage Division, serving the state of Texas with Anheuser-Busch products, alongside a variety of craft, import beer brands, spirits, and wines. Ben E. Keith has built a reputation based on the pillars of growth, success, and quality for its business, customers, and employees alike.

The role available is that of a Shuttle Driver based in Wichita, KS, offering a sign-on bonus of $8,000 for candidates with at least one year of verifiable shuttle double trailer driving experience. This position is a critical component in ensuring the smooth flow of operations within the logistics network of Ben E. Keith. The Shuttle Driver’s primary responsibility is to efficiently deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch, maintaining stringent delivery time windows to facilitate effective supply chain management. Professionalism, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with supervisors are key elements of this role.

Beyond the operational duties, Ben E. Keith is deeply invested in the safety and well-being of its drivers. The company employs advanced technologies such as dash cameras with artificial intelligence to promote safe driving behaviors and document safety events. This proactive approach underscores the company’s dedication to driver safety and accident exoneration. Additionally, the role demands maintaining a positive attitude, following the dress code, and upholding cleanliness standards, reflecting the company's culture of respect and quality.

Ben E. Keith offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as short and long-term disability coverage. Employees also benefit from a 401K with matching contributions, a company-paid profit-sharing plan, an employee assistance program, wellness initiatives, educational assistance, paid vacation and holidays, and an employee credit union. The company fosters an inclusive environment where each employee's contributions are valued, and diversity is seen as a strength that enhances business creativity and decision-making.

As an equal employment opportunity employer and affirmative action employer, Ben E.
