The agency prides itself on delivering consistent weekly payroll options such as checks, direct deposits, and pay cards, ensuring convenience and reliability for its employees. Their collaboration with clients often includes roles that require both entry-level and specialized skills, offering stable employment with competitive wages and flexible schedules.
Currently, VPA is seeking a Part-Time Shuttle Detailer on-site at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY. The shifts offered are from 10am to 2pm, with flexibility allowing employees to choose between two, three, or five days per week, catering to different availability needs. The position offers a base pay starting at $18 per hour.
As a Shuttle Detailer, your main responsibilities will revolve around ensuring the shuttle fleet vehicles are kept in pristine condition, both interiorly and exteriorly, by employing thorough cleaning techniques. This includes hand washing vehicles, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning windows, waxing, and applying protective treatments to maintain and enhance the appearance and longevity of the vehicles. Notably, these duties extend year-round, including during the winter months, requiring commitment to weather-related conditions. The role requires careful handling of various cleaning agents and equipment, including knowledge of mixing cleaning solutions and the ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. The job provides a valuable experience in vehicle maintenance and detailing within a friendly and supportive work environment. VPA’s commitment to equal opportunity employment, especially in honoring veterans, ensures that diversity and inclusivity are central to their hiring and workplace practices. If you are looking for a part-time position with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a role that allows you to work independently while contributing directly to the upkeep of an important community service vehicle fleet, this Shuttle Detailer position at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse is an excellent match.
