Job Description

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a premier organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors across the United States. With over 60 communities nationwide, RLC prides itself on creating warm, welcoming, and resort-style living environments that empower seniors to live their best lives with dignity, independence, and comfort. This family-owned company emphasizes a servant-hearted community culture deeply rooted in Core Values such as Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. These values shape every interaction and service, ensuring that residents and employees alike experience a supportive, respectful, and caring atmosphere.

At RLC, success is driven by four essential goals: happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. The company’s commitment to these goals reflects its focus on operational excellence and heartfelt service, making it a top choice for professionals who want to make a meaningful difference in senior living.

The Bus Driver role at RLC is pivotal in facilitating residents' independence and active lifestyles. As a Bus Driver, you are not just providing transportation; you are enabling seniors to attend appointments, participate in daily activities, and enjoy community outings safely and comfortably. This role requires a dependable, friendly individual who values safety and excellent service. Since transportation plays a crucial role in residents' quality of life, the Bus Driver is integral to maintaining smooth daily operations, fostering a sense of community, and ensuring timely and efficient shuttle services.

This is a part-time position offering approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of residents. RLC is looking for a professional who is at least 25 years of age with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. You should have a solid command of the local area to plan efficient routes and be comfortable using both electronic navigation tools and traditional paper maps. Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and helpful in a dynamic environment are essential qualities for success in this role.

In addition to driving, responsibilities include assisting residents with mobility needs, particularly operating wheelchair lifts and securing wheelchairs safely. Ensuring the shuttle bus remains well-maintained, clean, and safe through routine inspections and cleaning is a key part of maintaining the high standards set by RLC. The Bus Driver also supports the community by undertaking small maintenance or custodial tasks during downtime, helping the team keep the environment inviting and well-functioning.

At RLC, you gain more than just employment; you join a community dedicated to servant leadership and making a difference in seniors’ lives every day. The company offers attractive perks such as pay on demand, employee discounts, and a supportive leadership team committed to fostering growth in a beautiful, resort-style setting. The culture at RLC is purpose-driven, making this role a meaningful opportunity for anyone who wants to combine their love for driving with a passion for serving others. If you are ready to transport with heart and be part of a company that feels like family, consider applying to join Resort Lifestyle Communities today.
