Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a distinguished and fast-growing family-owned company dedicated to serving seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. With a reputation for operating beautiful, resort-style environments, RLC emphasizes creating a close-knit, servant-hearted community rooted in core values of Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. The company’s mission focuses on fostering happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations, which form the foundation of RLC’s success and commitment to quality senior living experiences.
At RLC, the ethos is not just about working; it’s about making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by supporting their independence and well-being. The organization nurtures an inclusive and supportive environment where employees are valued as part of a larger family, working collaboratively to achieve a common purpose. This dedication to a holistic community experience makes RLC an employer of choice for those passionate about senior care and service excellence.
The role of Bus Driver at Resort Lifestyle Communities is a vital position focused on providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation to senior residents. This part-time role entails approximately 20 hours per week and demands flexible availability to meet resident needs, ensuring they can attend daily appointments, activities, and community outings with ease and comfort. As a Bus Driver, you will not only be operating the community shuttle bus but also playing a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by facilitating their independence and engagement.
Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with mobility needs, such as safely operating the wheelchair lift and securing wheelchairs, managing transportation requests to keep trips punctual, and maintaining the shuttle bus to ensure it remains clean and safe. The role also includes supporting the community by performing small maintenance or custodial tasks during downtime, contributing to the smooth operation of the environment where seniors live and thrive.
RLC seeks candidates who are at least 25 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and have a solid knowledge of the local area for efficient route planning. Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and helpful in a busy setting are essential for success. The ability to use both electronic and paper navigation tools is also important to ensure timely and safe transportation. This position offers a meaningful opportunity for individuals with a servant’s heart who want to bring kindness and compassion to their work every day.
Working at RLC means enjoying employee perks like pay on demand, discounts, and the rewarding experience of working for a purpose-driven company that values its team members. The organization provides supportive leadership and fosters a work culture that feels like family, enhancing job satisfaction and personal growth. If you are ready to drive with heart and purpose, RLC invites you to apply and become part of a community dedicated to making a difference in seniors’ lives.
