The Shred Delivery Driver role at Marco is a dynamic and essential position focused on delivering superior customer service while managing all aspects of document destruction logistics. This role involves reviewing and optimizing daily route schedules, ensuring all client appointments are confirmed and executed efficiently. Drivers perform both onsite and mobile document shredding operations using state-of-the-art shredding trucks designed to handle confidential materials securely. A key responsibility includes advising clients on potential security risks and recommending corrective measures to enhance their document handling processes. The role also requires meticulous attention to administrative tasks such as obtaining electronic client signatures and maintaining accurate documentation for compliance and operational purposes.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of delivery driver or relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of personal insurance
- Acceptable driving record
- Compliance with DOT regulations including medical and drug evaluations to obtain DOT health card
- Maintain NAID certification
- Ability to use MS Office applications
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Must work up to eight weekends per year
- Ability to operate mobile shredding equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma and two years of delivery driver or relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license, proof of personal insurance, and acceptable driving record
- Compliance with all applicable DOT regulations including successful completion of medical and drug evaluations
- Meet and maintain NAID certification driver requirements
- Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications including Outlook
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties
- Review daily route schedule and confirm scheduling calls have been completed
- Change route plans as necessary
- Perform onsite and offsite document destruction using mobile shredding equipment
- Advise clients of security risks and corrective actions
- Obtain electronic client signatures and upload documentation
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks on truck and shredding equipment
- Adhere to shred team schedule including working up to eight weekends per year for special events
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with administrative procedures including time entry
