Job Requirements

Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
Ability to perform basic computer functions
Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 60 lbs
Ability to work with fresh, dried, and/or processed products, spices, and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
Ability to work in varying temperatures
Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
Ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead storage
Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
Ability to work cooperatively with others
Ability to work all assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food service or retail management preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
Ability to train, motivate, and lead a team
Basic math and computer skills
Familiarity with inventory management and loss prevention techniques
Customer service orientation
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment

Job Duties

Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies and local, state, and federal laws including health, safety, and environmental regulations
Adhere to HAACP and food handling procedures
Maintain clean, neat, and organized work environment
Enforce department and Company safety policies and procedures
Supervise equipment use and ensure proper maintenance
Lead and develop department associates through training and performance feedback
Manage inventory, ensure product quality, and verify pricing accuracy
Promote customer service excellence by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries
Oversee proper food storage, product rotation, and display presentation
Utilize technology and applications related to food service operations
Maintain accurate reports, temperature logs, and production sheets
Ensure compliance with labor laws and Company policies
Assist with preparation of food products, catering, and special orders as needed
