The Bakery Associate role at ShopRite is a vital position within the Bakery Department that supports the Bakery Manager in delivering a superior customer experience. This role involves a variety of responsibilities centered around the preparation and presentation of bakery items, including baking, mixing dough, icing, packaging, filling, and decorating designated pastry and bread products. The Bakery Associate is expected to maintain cleanliness and organization within the department, ensuring that all bakery items are fresh, accurately labeled, and attractively displayed. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds, and operate bakery equipment.
