Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English language
- Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies

Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
- Maintain department sanitation and QA standards
- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment
- Keep floor clear of debris and spills
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance
- Pack out product into display cases
- Rotate product to ensure freshness
- Ensure accurate signage for the department
- Prepare trays to company's and customer's satisfaction
- Perform duties in accordance with local, state and federal regulations
- Dress and groom according to company policy
- Follow QA hand washing standards and use disposable gloves
- Follow recipes to produce food products
- Operate equipment for cooking, mixing, blending or processing ingredients
- Prepare special order requests
- Track movement of sales on production logs
- Take inventory and reorder supplies
- Place reclamation properly
- Lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs
- Unload trucks and transport merchandise
- Check prices and item locations
- Promote current charitable promotions
- Stand for duration of shift
- Receive deliveries
- Assist other departments as instructed
- Follow HAZCOM program and safety standards
- Adhere to company rules, policies, and health regulations
- Follow procedures for receiving, storing and restocking products
- Handle damaged and spoiled products
- Understand and adhere to company shrink guidelines
- Maintain and report equipment issues
- Check refrigeration equipment
- Complete department training programs
- Maintain punctual attendance
- Work overtime as assigned
- Work cooperatively
- Operate balers, hi-lo's, power jacks, slicing machines only if 18 or older
