Currently, Classic Collision is seeking to hire an Auto Body Shop Porter. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20 to $25 depending on the candidate's experience, reflecting the company’s commitment to fair and competitive compensation. The Auto Body Shop Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of the shop. This position is essential in supporting both the front office and production areas by ensuring a clean, safe, and functional environment conducive to delivering quality service. Responsibilities include maintaining housekeeping duties, assisting the detail department, managing shop errands such as driving company vehicles for parts pickup or customer vehicle transportation, and providing light maintenance support. The Auto Body Shop Porter will also be entrusted with securing vehicles, managing keys, and performing various tasks as assigned that contribute to the effective daily operation of the shop.

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- physical ability to perform tasks including standing walking and lifting up to 20 pounds
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the front office including emptying garbage cans cleaning floors and dusting
- help in detail department when needed
- Maintain the daily housekeeping of the interior of the production area including emptying waste cans sweeping floors disposing of unwanted parts cleaning spray booths and placing tools and equipment in their proper location
- Drive company vehicles to run shop errands or pick up parts and drive customer vehicles pick up and deliver cars
- Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion
- Perform minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs when necessary
- Ensure all cars are protected from inclement weather
- Secure all vehicles and ensure vehicle keys are separate and secure
- Perform other duties as assigned required to successfully meet the needs of the business
