The Shipping Operator role at Amrize is integral to maintaining seamless operations within their manufacturing facilities. Job Requirements

High school diploma/GED
1-2 years of experience in industrial operations preferred
Minimum of two years related experience in industrial operations
Ability to walk, climb, bend, stoop and perform heavy lifting
Knowledge of mobile equipment operation, cement manufacturing equipment
Some mechanical and electrical skills
Good communication skills
Valid driver's license preferred
Basic computer skills
Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE including respirators
Clean shaven for respirator fit testing

Job Qualifications

1-2 years of related work experience
Knowledge in mobile equipment operation

Job Duties

Maintain high work standards in a manner that supports SOP's and complies with Amrize policies
Primary point of contact for customers, truck haulers, market managers and other outside sources
Operate mobile equipment
cement loading, shipping including forklift, manlift, skid steer, trackmobile, and cherry picker
Operate a forklift to load and unload product
Load bulk trucks, bulk rail cars, bulk bags and barges
Store, stock and handle materials including but not limited to cement ensuring accurate deliveries
Perform required maintenance and welding as needed on equipment and machines
Perform inventory measurements and reporting as required
Utilize computer systems to load trucks, receive product, maintain inventories, input manual bills of lading, process credit rebills and complete procurement requirements
Perform necessary tasks to ensure good housekeeping for a safe and efficient operation ensure warehouse is safe and accessible for non-warehouse traffic
Perform inspections and provide documentation and reporting as required or as directed by the Supervisor
Maintain Shipping area's Process for Safety, Procedures and ISO documentation
Assist other departments as needed
Maintain a high degree of customer service and customer satisfaction
Identify report and assist in resolution of safety and environmental concerns and work practices that may affect the Health & Safety of employees or other parties
Perform any and all other duties as may be assigned
Work any shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays as schedules dictate
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas
