The Shipping and Receiving Specialist Lead role at DuBois is a critical position responsible for managing all administrative and operational functions related to shipping and receiving. This role plays a significant part in ensuring customer satisfaction by guaranteeing accurate and timely order fulfillment. The specialist lead coordinates daily activities in the warehouse, manages the team’s workload, and oversees training and performance coaching. Attention to detail and organizational skills are paramount, as the position requires managing documentation, tracking inbound and outbound deliveries, and handling hazardous materials according to regulations. Proficiency in warehouse management software, particularly D365, is essential to maintain accurate digital records and drive process improvements. The role also involves direct interaction with third-party logistics providers, warehouse personnel, and drivers to ensure seamless freight handling and compliance with safety regulations. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for a professional with experience in manufacturing or distribution facilities, who is proficient in warehouse operations, and is motivated to enhance operational efficiency and team performance. Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Job Qualifications

3 years experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility preferred
Experience with warehouse management software
Knowledge of HAZMAT products and regulations is required
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Proven problem-solving skills
Demonstrate professionalism at all times
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics (D365)
Must be able to read and write load diagrams, shipping orders, and work instructions
Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleagues
Effective communication skills and time management
Forklift certified with at least 1 year of experience
Able to lift 50 pounds comfortably and safely

Job Duties

Oversea department training
Ensure daily shipping targets and production support requirements are met
Develop process for operational excellence
Update daily tier board and hold daily huddles
Serve as first point of contact for team questions, issues, and escalations
Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members
Lead daily activities of shipping and receiving personnel to ensure productivity, accuracy, and adherence to schedule
