  • 18 years of age or older
  • ServSafe or food safety certification or equivalent
  • ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • basic math and counting skills
  • effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • willingness to accept change and new procedures
  • ability to multitask, meet production and service deadlines, and adapt to changes

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • previous experience as a cook or related role preferred
  • TEAM/ServSafe Alcohol Certification preferred and will be trained and certified upon hire as needed
  • ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent required and will be trained and certified upon hire as needed
  • demonstrates basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • willingness to accept change and new procedures
  • ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet production/service time schedules, and adapt to necessary and unforeseen changes

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • safely uses all food utensils including knives
  • operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
  • bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods
  • arranges, garnishes, and portions food following established guidelines
