It is a community hub where every cup sparks connection and every visit can brighten someone's day. Established as a leader in the retail coffee industry, Starbucks continues to innovate with high-quality products, sustainable sourcing, and exceptional customer service. The company also values its partners (employees) by offering industry-leading benefits and supporting their growth journey with developmental experiences.
As a shift supervisor at Starbucks, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the store's daily operations while ensuring a positive customer experience. This leadership position demands a balance of craft and heart, guiding your team to maintain store standards through quality beverage and food preparation and excellent customer service. The shift supervisor will also be responsible for delegating tasks to team members, coaching employees, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of retail schedules.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about coffee culture and community, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships within a team. You will be empowered to make a difference every shift, supporting your partners' development and contributing to the store’s success. Starbucks provides access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parental leave, vacation time, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. Additionally, the company supports educational advancement through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan offering full tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree via Arizona State University’s online program.
At Starbucks, diversity and inclusion are fundamental values. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, or veteran status. Reasonable accommodations are provided for applicants with disabilities. Starbucks also encourages a healthy work-life balance and fosters a collaborative and empowering workplace culture where every team member can thrive.
Joining Starbucks as a shift supervisor means becoming part of a brand dedicated to excellence, community connection, and continuous partner growth. You will lead by example with integrity, craft, and enthusiasm to ensure each customer leaves with a memorable Starbucks experience. This role not only challenges you to excel in operational management but offers rewarding opportunities to shape a positive workplace and impact the wider community one meaningful moment at a time.
