The shift supervisor role encompasses both operational management and leadership responsibilities. You will be expected to oversee daily store procedures, including cash handling, safety protocols, and adherence to store policies. With at least six months of leadership experience delegating tasks and managing team activities, you will guide your partners to perform at their best and support their development within the company. This role demands flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays, to guarantee store readiness and customer satisfaction throughout the week.

From comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to short-term and long-term disability coverage, Starbucks ensures its partners and their families are cared for. The company also offers paid parental leave, paid vacation accrual, sick leave, holiday pay, and access to a 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching and stock purchase programs. Additionally, Starbucks provides exceptional educational opportunities, including 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through the Starbucks College Achievement Plan in partnership with Arizona State University, along with student loan management resources and other learning initiatives.
Starbucks is committed to equal employment opportunities, fostering an inclusive culture that values diversity. All qualified applicants are considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status. The company also complies with applicable state and local laws regarding employee leave benefits and reasonable accommodations, ensuring an equitable workplace environment.
In this role, you will not only develop your leadership skills but also contribute directly to the vibrant culture of a renowned global brand. Starbucks shift supervisors are crucial in shaping memorable customer experiences and advancing the company’s mission of creating a sense of community one meaningful moment at a time. Join Starbucks to grow your career, build lasting relationships, and make a positive impact every day through coffee and customer connection.
