This role of Shift Supervisor at Starbucks invites experienced individuals to step into a dynamic leadership position within the vibrant environment of a busy coffeehouse. The Shift Supervisor is also deeply involved in coaching and mentoring baristas and other team members, fostering their skills in customer service and coffee craftsmanship. Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards including quality, cash handling, safety, and security
  • Six months of customer service experience
  • Six months of experience delegating tasks and coordinating a team
  • Ability to prepare and coach preparation of food and beverages to standard or customized recipes

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of experience interacting with customers in a service role
  • Six months of supervisory or team-leading experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of retail or food service operations is a plus
  • Ability to build and maintain positive team relationships

Job Duties

  • Lead and direct the work of team members during shifts
  • Ensure quality preparation and service of coffee and food products
