We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Shift Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards Starbucks is known for while fostering a positive environment both for customers and partners. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be the leader during your shift, guiding the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences through expertly crafted beverages and food offerings. This position involves not just operational oversight but also coaching and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance. Shift Supervisors will manage daily store operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and create a supportive and friendly atmosphere in the coffeehouse.

Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverage and food products, cash handling, and store safety
  • prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard or customized recipes
  • six months of experience in customer-facing roles
  • six months of experience supervising or coordinating employees

Job Qualifications

  • Six months of experience interacting with customers
  • six months of experience delegating tasks or coordinating two or more employees
  • ability to direct the work of others

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise team members during shifts
  • ensure quality preparation of beverages and food items according to standard recipes or customer customizations
