Job Description

SSP America is a leading operator of a diverse portfolio of restaurants primarily located at the Denver Airport. We are currently seeking dedicated and energetic Shift Supervisors who are ready to step into a management role and contribute to our continued success. As a Shift Supervisor at SSP America, you will hold a critical position, leading a team of Food Travel Experts to consistently achieve our operational standards and deliver excellent customer service. This role is designed to nurture leadership skills, offering a gateway into the management hierarchy within our company. Shift Supervisors are expected to embody our Passion Principles, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor while actively engaging with both staff and guests. This position offers a competitive wage of $24.00 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits such as an employee meal plan, full benefits, paid time off, a 401 K plan with company match, an employee assistance program, and a company-provided cell phone for all management positions.

In this role, Shift Supervisors will be responsible for leading shifts with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that the team delivers a welcoming experience to all guests. Your duties will include greeting guests, managing shifts according to SSP standards and operating procedures, and training new hires to align with our operational best practices. You will also be tasked with completing essential checklists throughout the shift and providing continuous coaching and support to your team to meet and exceed business goals. The position involves handling alcohol responsibly as part of day-to-day operations and may include additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to handle alcohol responsibly
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Effective team player with a positive attitude
