SSP The Food Travel Experts specializes in creating and managing food outlets located in transportation hubs where people are constantly on the move, including airports, train stations, and motorway service areas. You will assist the management team with essential tasks such as opening and closing procedures and supporting financial operations, including cash handling and sales reporting. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment in compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring that both customers and staff feel secure and valued. Following best brand practices is a fundamental part of the role, helping to uphold SSP's reputation for quality and consistency across all its food outlets.
For roles based at airports, SSP requires successful candidates to provide a comprehensive five-year work history and to undergo a Criminal Record Check to comply with strict Airport Security regulations. This ensures that all employees meet the necessary security standards and contribute to a safe travel environment.

Job Requirements
- experience in a supervisory or team leader position
- strong customer service skills
- ability to manage and motivate staff
- understanding of health and safety regulations
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and shifts
- for airport roles, provide full 5 year work history and pass a criminal record check
- effective communication skills
- basic math skills for financial tasks
