The Shift Supervisor role at Braum's is a dynamic management position integral to enforcing the company’s brand strategy and upholding its mission and values. This role involves overseeing the store’s daily operations with a focus on excellent customer service, maximizing sales, and ensuring food quality. Scheduled primarily during the evening shift from 2:00 pm to close, the Shift Supervisor is expected to be a dependable leader who can coach, motivate, and develop the store crew to meet operational goals. This position offers an hourly wage between $15.50 and $16.00, translating to an annual salary range of approximately $40,500 to $42,500, along with a robust benefit and bonus program. The bonus is paid bi-weekly, incentivizing performance and dedication.

In this supervisory position, you will guide team members by teaching and coaching them to improve their skills and deliver excellent customer experiences. The Shift Supervisor manages the flow of operations within food service, grocery market, and fountain sales, ensuring all activities align with Braum's standards. Additionally, this role involves monitoring inventory, equipment functionality, safety, and cleanliness to maintain a safe and efficient store environment. A key responsibility is enforcing store policies and practices consistently to uphold Braum’s quality and service benchmarks.

The role demands a flexible work schedule based on a rotating three-week plan, requiring approximately 45 hours per week, which calls for adaptability and strong time management skills. The Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Assistant Manager and acts as a conduit between store leadership and the frontline crew, emphasizing communication, organization, and leadership. The ideal candidate embodies a strong work ethic and integrity, has a positive approach to training and teamwork, and demonstrates effective communication with the leadership team to meet business objectives.

This role is highly suitable for individuals with at least one year of supervisory or retail experience, who hold a high school diploma or GED, and are at least 21 years old. Job Duties

  • Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members

  • Oversee the shift operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
  • Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
  • Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
