Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of leadership experience in a relevant field
- 1 year of cafe leadership experience preferred
- ServeSafe certification preferred
- ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to provide coaching and feedback
- availability to work in Baltimore MD or applicable location
- commitment to uphold health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of leadership experience in retail grocery military restaurant or equivalent experience
- 1 year of leadership in a cafe preferred
- ServeSafe certification highly preferred
- Starbucks or other fast-paced cafe experience preferred
- ability to work with fluid schedules
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward new team members
- ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs
- ability to work both independently and in a team
- focus on quality and pride in work
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Job Duties
- act with integrity, honesty and promote culture values and mission of Starbucks and Gopuff
- maintain calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events
- anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating environment
- communicate information to manager to create a great working environment
- assist with new employee training with positive reinforcement and coaching
- provide feedback to manager on employee performance
- create a positive learning environment with clear coaching and feedback
- develop positive relationships with shift team by understanding their motivation and needs
- execute store operations during scheduled shifts
- organize opening and closing duties as assigned
- maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- provide quality beverages and products consistently adhering to recipe and presentation standards
- follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
