Job Description

Wonder is a pioneering mealtime platform dedicated to bringing world-class food within reach, no matter where you live. Unlike traditional restaurants, Wonder operates with an innovative model by offering a diverse selection of dishes from over 20 exclusive restaurants, all combined into a single order. This unique approach allows customers to enjoy a variety of cuisines—ranging from tacos to Thai—with the convenience of zero delivery fees, dine-in options, or pickup at convenient Wonder locations. Each dish is freshly made to order by a skilled culinary team to ensure consistent quality, great taste, and prompt service.

Behind the scenes, Wonder maintains control over every aspect of the dining experience. From recipe development to the technology powering the platform, Wonder’s integrated system helps sustain uniformity, quality, and variety on a scale that meets the demands of customers effortlessly. This commitment to innovation and quality has positioned Wonder as a leader in the fast-casual dining market, constantly working to make great food more accessible and enjoyable to a broad audience.

The Shift Supervisor at Wonder plays a fundamental role in supporting kitchen operations during overnight shifts, which generally fall from late evening to early morning hours. With a competitive pay rate starting at $20.00 per hour and an additional $2.00 per hour premium for hours worked between midnight and 5:00 AM, this position offers both full-time and part-time employment opportunities at the Canton Crossing location.

As a Shift Supervisor, you will be entrusted with ensuring that food quality and customer service standards are consistently met. You will lead restaurant team members through all phases of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties. This role demands a proactive leader capable of collaborating closely with chef leadership and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience. Handling kitchen orders and deliveries according to company protocol and managing inventory and stock ensures the team never runs out of necessary supplies.

Maintaining high safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards across all back-of-house areas is a crucial responsibility. You will monitor kitchen operational costs to ensure they stay within budget, and ensure all equipment is safely operated and well maintained. Effective communication and coordination with both front and back-of-house staff during pre- and post-service briefings help maintain smooth daily operations.

The Shift Supervisor embodies professional and ethical leadership, setting a positive example for the team. Ongoing involvement in training, coaching, and development initiatives helps restaurant employees grow their skills, contributing to a motivated and efficient workforce.

This role suits detail-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have previous supervisory experience, preferably within quick service or full-service restaurants. At Wonder, embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion is a core value, making it a welcoming workplace for all eligible candidates who meet the requirements.

If you are seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team and be part of a forward-thinking company that revolutionizes the dining experience, Wonder presents an ideal environment to grow and excel.
