The Shift Supervisor role at Wonder is critical to maintaining high standards of kitchen operations during overnight hours. Located in College Park, this position supports both full-time and part-time schedules that usually run from late evening into the early morning. Shift Supervisors earn a base pay of $21 per hour, with an additional premium of $2 per hour for work performed between midnight and 5 AM. This role requires vigilance, strong leadership, and a passion for food service excellence.
As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead a team of restaurant employees through all phases of service, from opening preparations to closing duties, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with chef leadership and other departments to ensure every customer receives outstanding service and quality food. Responsibilities include overseeing kitchen orders and deliveries, managing inventories, enforcing safety and sanitation protocols, monitoring operational costs, and maintaining kitchen equipment. You will also conduct staff briefings, foster a professional and ethical work environment, and actively participate in employee training and development.

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for a full shift while working
- Must have availability to work evenings overnights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience supervising or leading team members in a quick service restaurant QSR or full-service restaurant
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy
- Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures
- Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player
Job Duties
- Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service including opening prep and closing duties
- Work together with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive the highest quality of service
- Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries in line with company protocol
- Maintain communication with restaurant staff to ensure the team has enough stock and assist with supplies and ordering
- Ensure appropriate safety sanitation and hygiene practices are followed across back-of-house areas and cleaning schedules
- Monitor kitchen operational costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely securely and is in full working order
- Perform relevant briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service
- Ensure all operating and quality standards are met
- Present a professional and ethical leadership style
- Participate in training coaching and development for restaurant employees
