The role of Shift Supervisor at Braum's is a critical leadership position that supports the execution of the company's brand strategy while promoting its vision, mission, and core values. This role involves overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts to ensure an outstanding customer experience and maximize sales performance. The Shift Supervisor directly influences team morale, productivity, and overall store success by coaching and leading store crew members effectively. The work schedule is based on a rotating three-week schedule with an expected workweek of 45 hours, specifically covering shifts from 5:30 am to 3:00 pm.

As a Shift Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills while managing food service, grocery market, and fountain sales operations within the store. Key responsibilities include mentoring and training employees, monitoring inventory and supplies, ensuring kitchen equipment is maintained, and upholding rigorous safety and cleanliness standards. You will also play an essential role in enforcing store policies and procedures, helping to create a structured and efficient work environment.

This role reports to the Assistant Manager and requires effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience
  • Retail experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership team members
  • Positive approach to training, developing and interacting with all team members
  • Ability to adapt to customer and employee needs as well as store environment conditions
  • Organized, detailed and able to follow practices and procedures

Job Duties

  • Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members
  • Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality
  • Oversee the shift operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
  • Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
  • Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
