The role of a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks is a dynamic leadership position that combines operational management with customer service excellence. Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • meet store operating policies and standards including cash handling and safety
  • prepare and coach food and beverage preparation to standard or customized recipes
  • experience delegating tasks to two or more employees
  • effective oral communication skills
  • ability to direct the work of others

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum six months of experience interacting with and fulfilling customer requests
  • at least six months experience in delegating tasks or coordinating team activities
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • knowledge of retail environment and store operations
  • ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations

Job Duties

  • Lead and direct store operations during shifts
  • coach and develop team members to enhance skills and performance
  • ensure quality preparation of food and beverages according to recipes
  • oversee cash handling and store security procedures
  • maintain store cleanliness and safety standards
  • manage customer interactions to deliver excellent service
