The role of Shift Supervisor at Starbucks is a dynamic leadership position designed for individuals who are passionate about coffee, community, and service excellence. Job Requirements

  • maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation
  • available to work flexible hours including early mornings evenings weekends nights and or holidays
  • meet store operating policies and standards including quality beverages and food products cash handling and store safety and security with or without reasonable accommodations
  • six months of experience in a position requiring constant customer interaction
  • prepare and coach preparation of food and beverages to standard or customized recipes including changes in temperature quantity or ingredient substitution
  • six months experience delegating tasks to or coordinating two or more employees

Job Qualifications

  • six months of experience in a customer-facing role
  • at least six months experience delegating tasks or coordinating team efforts
  • effective oral communication skills
  • strong interpersonal and team-building abilities
  • knowledge of retail environment
  • ability to direct the work of others
  • ability to learn quickly

Job Duties

  • lead and direct store team during shifts to ensure high-quality service and product delivery
  • coach partners on food and beverage preparation according to standard or customized recipes
  • maintain store safety and security protocols
  • handle cash and manage financial transactions accurately
  • delegate tasks and coordinate workflow among two or more employees
  • ensure compliance with store operating policies and standards
  • build strong relationships with customers and team members to foster a welcoming environment
