Starbucks is currently seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join their team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading your coffeehouse team with both craft and heart, creating a welcoming space that serves as a community hub. This position involves hands-on leadership in preparing beverages and food items to standard or customized recipes, coaching and supporting crew members, and ensuring that all operational policies regarding store safety and security, cash handling, and quality standards are upheld.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. You’ll be expected to manage daily store operations, delegate tasks to your team, and maintain a positive environment for both customers and partners. This role offers flexibility with scheduling that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays to meet business needs. Job Requirements

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Meet store operating policies and standards related to food and beverage quality, cash handling, and store safety
  • Six months of customer interaction experience
  • Experience delegating tasks to or coordinating tasks of two or more employees

  • At least six months of experience in customer-facing roles
  • Six months of experience delegating tasks or coordinating teams of two or more employees
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of retail environment operations
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes

Job Duties

  • Lead and direct the work of team members during shifts
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality including adherence to recipe modifications
  • Ensure compliance with store operating policies including cash handling and store safety
  • Coach and train crew members to enhance service and product preparation
  • Manage shift schedules and delegate tasks effectively to meet operational needs
  • Foster a welcoming and positive environment for customers and partners
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
