The role of Shift Supervisor at Braum's is a pivotal position within their restaurant and food service management teams. This part-time to full-time role, with an hourly compensation rate ranging from $14.50 to $15.00 ($35,500 to $37,000 annually), involves overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts. Shift Supervisors are the frontline leaders who apply the company’s brand strategy, promote its core vision, mission, and values, and drive a superior customer experience while maximizing sales. The supervisor’s role focuses on teaching, coaching, and leading store crew members to not only meet but exceed the expectations related to food quality and customer service.
Core responsibilities include managing the food service, grocery, and fountain sales functions of the store during their shifts. Supervisors actively engage in maintaining inventory control, monitoring supply levels, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety standards of the kitchen and workspace are consistently met. They play a critical role in implementing and adhering to store policies and practices, all while fostering a productive and motivated team environment. Working a rotating 3-week schedule with an expected 45-hour workweek, Shift Supervisors report directly to the Assistant Manager and are expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, outstanding work ethic, and a positive, customer-focused approach.

Job Duties
- Teach, coach and provide leadership to the store crew members
- Maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality
- Oversee the shift operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market and fountain sales
- Actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety and cleanliness as needed
- Share in responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly
