Established as a symbol of quality and community, Starbucks is more than just a place to enjoy coffee; it is a welcoming space where every cup sparks connection among its guests. Recognized globally, Starbucks has built a reputation for excellence in coffee making, hospitality, and commitment to partner and community well-being. As a company that values growth, inclusivity, and innovation, Starbucks invests heavily in its partners' (employees) development and well-being, offering industry-leading benefits and opportunities for career advancement. The company's mission extends beyond coffee - it aims to inspire and nurture the human spirit, one person and one cup at a time.

This role is for a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, who will play a crucial leadership role in ensuring the daily operations of the coffeehouse run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer service. As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart, creating a warm, welcoming environment for your team and customers alike. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing the preparation and coaching staff in making beverages and food items according to Starbucks’ high-quality standards. You will be tasked with managing store operations including cash handling, safety, and security, ensuring that the store adheres fully to company policies and delivers an outstanding customer experience.

This position requires flexibility as shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. As a shift supervisor, you will have the important duty of not only leading but motivating your team, delegating tasks, and ensuring that each partner is empowered to deliver their best performance. Your role is integral to fostering a positive team dynamic, building relationships internally and with customers, and driving the store’s success. The position encourages growth, offering a robust framework of developmental opportunities and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, paid parental leave, paid vacation, 401(k) with employer match, and education benefits including tuition coverage for a bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University’s online program.

Starbucks supports equal opportunity employment and inclusivity, encouraging applications from a diverse pool of candidates. It offers reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities and prioritizes a respectful and equitable workplace. Compensation typically starts at the entry point of the pay range for the geographical location of the position, with individual adjustments based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. This role at Starbucks is a perfect fit for someone passionate about coffee, customer service, and team leadership, eager to contribute to a thriving community hub while advancing their career in the vibrant coffee industry.
