As a Shift Supervisor at Boomers, a division under Lucky Strike Entertainment, this role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operational effectiveness and an exceptional guest experience. Reporting directly to the Park Manager and Assistant Park Manager, the Shift Supervisor plans, directs, and controls all operational facets of their assigned facility according to company policies and procedures. This position demands strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and an eye for detail to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members alike. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all team members operate cohesively and effectively, fostering a culture of respect, safety, and outstanding guest relations.

The primary duties involve direct supervision of location activities and team members, regular inspections of guest areas and the overall facility, and the oversight of financial controls including accuracy and safety of company funds. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential as the Shift Supervisor must maintain quality standards across revenue centers and communicate effectively within all levels of the organization. They also serve as a role model, promoting the company’s core values, while recommending and implementing policies designed to optimize operational performance. Additionally, the role has significant responsibility for managing expenses, labor hours, operating costs, and inventory – ensuring the facility opens on time, runs efficiently throughout the day, and closes properly at the end of the shift.

This role requires a candidate who is at least 21 years old and possesses supervisory experience within the guest service or amusement industry, showcasing a proven ability to maintain high guest satisfaction levels and a safe operational environment. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about amusement industry standards and health and safety regulations, capable of establishing controls that uphold staff integrity and quality assurance. Strong multitasking abilities, motivational leadership skills to guide team members toward collective success, and familiarity with various technological tools (including computers and electronic cash registers) are also critical to success in this role.

Job Duties

  • assist the Park Manager and Assistant Park Manager in all operational functions ensuring team supervision, cleanliness, safety, and excellent guest relations
  • direct and supervise location activities and team members as assigned
  • visit all guest areas regularly during shift and tour and inspect the entire facility daily
  • responsible for accuracy and safety of company funds for assigned location
  • ensure organizational quality standards are maintained for team members and revenue centers within the location
  • maintain lines and methods of communication providing expeditious information flow
