As a shift supervisor at Waffle House, your primary responsibility is to deliver the signature Waffle House experience to every customer. You will be on your feet, actively engaged in a variety of tasks such as taking orders, preparing food to order, maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of the restaurant, and generally ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires strong leadership skills within a team environment, including coaching and supporting servers and cooks to provide exceptional service. A shift supervisor must be both a leader and a team player, able to motivate and guide coworkers while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Shift supervisors are expected to be flexible, particularly in terms of availability for weekends and some holidays, which tend to be the busiest times for the restaurant.
