With a significant presence worldwide, Starbucks is recognized not only for its quality beverages and food but also for its dedication to customer experience and employee development. Known for its innovative approach to coffee culture, Starbucks continually aims to inspire and nurture the human spirit, one person, one cup, and one neighborhood at a time.

This opening is for the position of Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, a vital leadership role within the coffeehouse team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be entrusted with leading a team with craft and heart, ensuring every shift runs smoothly while creating a welcoming space for both customers and partners. You will oversee daily operations, manage store procedures, and uphold standards for beverage and food quality, customer service, safety, and security.

The Shift Supervisor role demands a blend of leadership, operational expertise, and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for coaching and preparing food and beverage offerings according to precise recipes, customizing orders to meet guest preferences, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role also requires task delegation and coordination among team members, motivating them and boosting team morale while maintaining high standards of store performance. Starbucks is invested in your professional growth, offering developmental experiences aimed at career advancement and industry excellence.

In addition to the dynamic work environment, Starbucks provides competitive benefits that support your health, financial well-being, and education. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance options, disability coverage, paid parental leave, vacation accrual, sick time, holiday pay, and retirement savings plans with employer match among others. Starbucks also partners with Arizona State University to offer 100% tuition coverage for a first-time bachelor’s degree through an online program, demonstrating its commitment to partner education and growth.

The position requires flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays, to meet store needs. A minimum of six months experience in customer-facing roles and previous experience in delegating or coordinating tasks with other employees are essential. Strong leadership qualities, communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and a retail environment knowledge base are necessary to succeed in this role. Starbucks is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring every applicant receives fair consideration regardless of background or identity.

Joining Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor means being part of a company that values your contributions, offers ongoing support, and provides an environment where you can grow professionally while positively impacting your community with every meaningful coffee moment.
