Job Description
Wendy's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain known for its fresh, made-to-order meals, friendly service, and iconic square hamburgers. Founded in 1969, Wendy's has grown to become one of the leading names in the quick-service restaurant industry, with thousands of locations worldwide. With a strong emphasis on quality, customer satisfaction, and community involvement, Wendy's has built a solid reputation for providing delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. Each Wendy's location serves as a hub of activity where team members work together to deliver exceptional dining experiences for customers. As a franchise-based company, independently owned and operated Wendy's locations uphold the brand's standards while fostering local community ties. This job opportunity is based at the Wendy's restaurant located at 6375 W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, FL 33067. The location operates in Florida's dynamic and diverse food service market and is committed to maintaining high-level standards of quality and customer service within the community. The Shift Manager role at this Wendy's branch is an essential leadership position that involves overseeing daily restaurant operations, supervising team members, and ensuring a positive guest experience. This position offers a pay range of $14.00 to $17.00 per hour and is typically full-time, presenting an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a career in restaurant management. The role demands a hands-on leader who is motivated to cultivate a supportive work environment reflecting Wendy's core values of respect, teamwork, and excellence. Whether it's managing inventory, coaching employees, or maintaining cleanliness standards, the Shift Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the restaurant's success. The company offers competitive benefits packages which include healthcare for full-time employees, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and access to an employee assistance program for everyone. The manager will be provided with paid training designed to build leadership skills and ensure adherence to operational procedures known as "the Wendy's Way." Career growth is actively encouraged, making this role attractive for those with aspirations to advance within or beyond the restaurant industry. Prospective candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours, engage actively in problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service, and lead by example through a commitment to food safety and quality standards. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and move throughout the majority of shifts, operate key restaurant equipment such as headsets, registers, and grills, and maintain a clean workspace. Reliable transportation is necessary to attend off-site training or other work-related tasks occasionally. Wendy's prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion across all ages, races, religions, nationalities, genders, and the LGBTQ+ community. The company also provides reasonable accommodations to ensure all employees can successfully perform their essential job functions.
