As part of a well-established restaurant chain, Tasty Chick'n prides itself on maintaining strict standards in food safety, service quality, and operational efficiency to ensure every guest has an outstanding dining experience. The restaurant culture is strongly rooted in its Guiding Values, focusing on employee development, community involvement, and continuous improvement, which aligns with its dynamic growth strategy and dedication to customer satisfaction.
The Shift Supervisor role at Tasty Chick'n is a critical leadership position reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager in the Operations Department. This non-exempt role is designed for individuals who are passionate about restaurant management and eager to impact all facets of restaurant operations positively. The Shift Supervisor will play an essential part in supporting the general manager by controlling production targets and enforcing the implementation of the brand’s vision and mission on every shift. This involves overseeing compliance with company standards in customer service, food safety, facilities maintenance, and financial accountability throughout the shift.
The successful candidate will be responsible for training, coaching, and supporting top talent within the restaurant team to achieve exceptional results in key areas such as people management, customer service, sales, and profitability. Embracing leadership responsibilities, the Shift Supervisor will lead by example, role-modeling Tasty Chick'n's Guiding Values and fostering a high-performance culture. Key duties include executing performance management, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed across all day parts including weekends and overnight, resolving complex customer issues, monitoring inventory and metrics, and assisting with marketing and sales initiatives. The role requires a flexible schedule and the willingness to adapt to the dynamic restaurant environment, including the possibility of traveling to other locations for support and training.
Qualifications for this role include ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety credentials, training in conflict resolution, and at least one year of supervisory experience in restaurant operations or a related field. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and marketing practices is highly valuable. The position also demands excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, team-oriented atmosphere. The Shift Supervisor will support compliance efforts, ensuring the restaurant adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for driven individuals seeking to advance their career in restaurant management with a respected brand that values leadership, teamwork, and operational excellence. Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package make this role ideal for motivated professionals ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment.
