Known worldwide for its commitment to quality, innovation, and inclusiveness, Starbucks operates thousands of stores globally, offering not only coffee and beverages but also creating welcoming environments where people gather. As a part of the Starbucks family, partners (employees) benefit from a company culture that values growth opportunities, diversity, and comprehensive benefits designed to support their wellbeing and career progression.

This position as a Shift Supervisor offers a unique opportunity to lead with purpose within a dynamic coffeehouse setting. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the world’s finest coffee while creating meaningful moments during every shift. You will lead your team by example, ensuring that every customer’s experience is welcoming, high-quality, and reflective of Starbucks’ standards. Your role involves not only managing day-to-day operational tasks but also coaching and supporting partners to deliver exceptional service and quality products.

Your ability to foster a positive environment, build relationships with partners and customers, and communicate effectively will be essential to creating a vibrant community space within the store. Starbucks deeply invests in your professional development through various mentorships, training opportunities, and industry-leading benefits that support both personal and career growth.

The role demands flexibility as shifts may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays, aligning with the diverse needs of Starbucks customers and store operations. With at least six months of prior experience handling customer interactions and coordinating team activities, you will be equipped to respond to daily challenges and contribute to a culture of excellence. Your commitment to punctuality, adherence to store policies, and passion for the Starbucks mission will be paramount.

Starbucks also prides itself on offering one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the retail and hospitality sector. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance options, life insurance, disability coverage, paid parental leave, vacation and sick time accrual, financial wellness tools, and educational opportunities such as full tuition coverage for online bachelor’s degree programs through its College Achievement Plan. This growth-oriented approach ensures that working at Starbucks is not just a job but a career path enriched with learning and leadership development.
