Shift Leaders are entrusted with overseeing the workflow and performance of team members, providing coaching and feedback to enable continuous development. The position supports achieving business objectives, including optimizing food flow, managing inventory to reduce waste, and enforcing sanitary practices to guarantee high-quality food service. Importantly, this role includes utilizing Sterling Systems to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous restaurant experience recommended
- knowledge of computers (MS Word and Excel)
- must possess a valid driver's license
- must be eligible to work in the United States
- must agree to a background check
- self-discipline, strong initiative, leadership ability and outgoing personality
- pleasant, polite manner with a neat, clean appearance
- effective motivator
- ability to handle pressures of coordinating multiple activities and team members

Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience recommended

Job Duties
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
- ensure 100% guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service & cleanliness, taking necessary actions to resolve guest complaints
- provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
- develop all team members by providing ongoing feedback
- create a work environment known as the place to work in the community
- enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness and maintenance of all areas
- ensure compliance with Moe's/Sterling Operational Standards
- maintain professional appearance and cleanliness standards
- manage food flow from ordering to serving for quality and waste reduction
- ensure proper security procedures are in place to protect guests, employees and assets
- ensure a safe working environment and complete injury reports timely
