The company emphasizes a warm and welcoming atmosphere where every coffee serves as an opportunity to brighten someone's day and bring community members together. Employees, known as partners, are valued for their commitment to creating exceptional customer experiences and upholding the high standards of the Starbucks brand.
This role is for a Shift Supervisor, a vital leadership position within a Starbucks coffeehouse that combines operational expertise with a passion for coffee culture and customer service. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be at the heart of the store's daily operations, using your craft and heart to lead a team and maintain a welcoming environment. You will be responsible for directing the work of other employees during your shift, ensuring that all beverages and food products meet Starbucks' quality standards, and making certain that store policies related to safety, security, and cash handling are strictly followed. Flexibility is essential, as work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of retail coffee operations.
The position offers significant growth opportunities, with Starbucks investing in your professional development through hands-on experiences, coaching, and mentorship. Benefits are industry-leading and comprehensive, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options, disability coverage, paid parental leave, vacation and sick time accrual, holiday pay, and a 401(k) plan with an employer match. Educational opportunities, such as the Starbucks College Achievement Plan providing 100% tuition coverage for a bachelor’s degree through Arizona State University's online program, demonstrate Starbucks' commitment to partner advancement. Additionally, partners receive access to financial well-being tools, student loan management resources, and backup care services.
Starbucks prides itself on fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace. As an equal opportunity employer, Starbucks welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to applicants and employees with disabilities. This environment enables partners to bring their authentic selves to work and contribute fully to the company’s mission. The Shift Supervisor role at Starbucks is not just a job; it is a chance to lead a team, build community connections, and grow within a globally respected brand that values its people and strives to make a positive difference every day.
