Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 -3 years related experience or training preferred
- Basic computer skills including POS and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of food safety and health codes
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays and evenings
Job Qualifications
- 1 -3 years related experience and/or training preferred
- Basic working knowledge of store operations and guest relations
- Basic computer fundamentals including POS and Microsoft Office
- Food preparation skills as they relate to restaurant business
- Up to date on food safety and health codes
Job Duties
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of KFC of Polly's
- Maintain calm demeanour during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard and set a positive example for the shift team
- Anticipate guest and store needs by continually evaluating environment and guests for cues
- Assist with new team member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed
- Create positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to team members to support improvement and ensure operational excellence
- Contribute to positive team environment through development of rapport with team members and recognize issues or changes in morale and performance and communicate matters with managers
- Deliver KFC of Polly's Brand service by acting with a “People Always First” attitude and connecting with guests
- Support management to execute store operations during scheduled shifts
- Organize opening and closing duties as assigned
- Follow operational policies and procedures, including safety and security to ensure team member safety
- Uphold cash handling policies and procedures, including verifying safe at start and end of shift, making change, balancing cashier drawers, and handling bank deposits
- Help oversee maintenance of food inventory, supply levels, ordering and receiving as needed
- Provide quality products consistently by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards and following health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- Utilize existing organizational tools with managers to find creative methods of team member recognition
- Ensure compliance with company policies, federal, state and local regulations and laws
- Comply with all CA wage and hour laws including meal and rest policy
- Work varied hours including dinner rush, closing shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
