The company emphasizes a culture centered on its Guiding Values, which foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among its team members. As an innovative player in the restaurant industry, Tasty Chick'n prioritizes food safety, facility maintenance, and financial accountability to maintain and enhance its reputation for excellence.
The role of Shift Supervisor at Tasty Chick'n is a pivotal position within the Operations Department, reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager. This is a non-exempt role requiring hands-on leadership and operational management during assigned shifts. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supporting the General Manager in achieving production targets aligned with the brand’s vision and mission. In this position, the individual plays a key role in modeling and reinforcing Tasty Chick'n’s Guiding Values, ensuring that all areas of operation meet company standards. Operational accountability lies at the heart of this role. The Shift Supervisor monitors and manages processes related to inventory, cost controls, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Additionally, this role partners with the General Manager to implement marketing initiatives and support sales projections that help drive the restaurant's financial growth. By directly observing shifts, the Shift Supervisor enforces food safety standards and leads the team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Candidates for the Shift Supervisor position are expected to have a minimum of one year of restaurant operations or food service management experience, coupled with proven supervisory success in fast-paced environments. Experience training and developing teams is essential, as is familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management. A ServSafe certification or other food safety credentials are preferred, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality in food handling. The Shift Supervisor should also exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with a customer-focused mindset that inspires and motivates staff.
This career opportunity at Tasty Chick'n offers an engaging workplace with growth potential in the vibrant foodservice industry.
