As one of the leading players in the quick-service restaurant industry, Wendy's has built a strong reputation for its delicious food offerings combined with an engaging and supportive work environment. Established decades ago, Wendy's has grown to serve millions of customers worldwide each day, driven by its mission to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive community presence.
Wendy's is not just a restaurant; it's a family-oriented company that values teamwork, respect, and career growth. The brand prides itself on fostering an inclusive atmosphere where employees can thrive, develop their skills, and grow within the company. The culture at Wendy’s encourages motivation, leadership, and a customer-first mindset, which directly translates into a rewarding dining experience for guests.
We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to join our team and lead one of our restaurant locations. This is a pivotal role within Wendy’s management team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations, setting the tone for the restaurant’s culture, and driving the team towards achieving sales and operational goals. The RGM serves as a leader and role model, ensuring superior customer service and a fun, family-friendly environment for both staff and customers.
The ideal candidate will be career-minded, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate the ability to build and lead a cohesive team focused on increasing profitability and maintaining high standards. This position offers flexible scheduling to support a balanced lifestyle, competitive pay ranging from $13.00 to $16.50 per hour, and comprehensive benefits including personal time off, medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as disability and life insurance options and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
At Wendy’s, we understand the importance of fair and equitable pay and comply fully with all pay transparency laws. We are committed to providing an environment where every team member feels valued and supported. Many of our future leaders have risen through the ranks starting from the RGM position, reflecting our dedication to professional development and internal career advancement.
In this role, you will take ownership of your restaurant's success by fostering a "Customer First" culture, supporting your management team, and ensuring compliance with food safety and operational guidelines. You will engage in daily problem-solving and decision-making, lead by example, and inspire your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You must be adaptable, willing to work various schedules, and committed to ongoing growth and learning, including obtaining SERV Safe certification.
Wendy’s is an equal opportunity employer and strives to provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. We value diversity and inclusion, and qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin. We require candidates to be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be eligible to work in the country, and pass a background check. Reliable transportation is necessary for travel to the home store and occasional training or administrative locations.
Join Wendy’s and become a vital part of a dynamic team where you have the opportunity to grow, lead, and succeed in a fulfilling career in the restaurant industry. With excellent incentives and support, we are here to help you advance and achieve your professional goals within the Wendy’s family.
