The role of Shift Manager/Supervisor at Nothing Bundt Cakes is a vital leadership position responsible for the efficient and seamless operation of daily shifts. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • minimum 6 months of experience in food service retail hospitality or related customer-facing role supervisory experience preferred
  • current ServSafe or food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise NbC daily shift operations during scheduled shifts ensuring consistent execution of standards and procedures
  • ensure product inventory is in place and support ordering of products according to standards
  • provide direction support and guidance to team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cakes flavors sizes and complementary merchandise
  • deliver outstanding guest service by modeling warm attentive and solution-oriented behaviors
  • support the preparation production and packaging of bakery products including baking frosting and packaging cakes following proprietary recipes and food safety guidelines
  • ensure production activities meet all safety and sanitation standards
  • manage shift scheduling delegate tasks and ensure team members take legally compliant breaks and meal periods
  • support onboarding and training of new team members and reinforce best practices and operational procedures
  • maintain a calm and focused demeanor under pressure and during periods of high volume
  • monitor food safety quality and sanitation standards including compliance with health department regulations
  • assist in food preparation baking packaging and presentation of products ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • oversee opening and closing procedures including checklists cleaning duties and shift reports
  • handle guest concerns with professionalism resolving issues promptly and escalating when appropriate
  • maintain cash controls and reconcile registers and prepare daily financial reports as assigned
  • monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management
  • ensure a clean organized and safe working environment at all times
