Job Description
Wendy's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain renowned for its fresh, made-to-order hamburgers, innovative menu items, and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Founded in 1969, Wendy's has established itself as a leader in the quick-service restaurant industry by blending classic tastes with modern dining trends. The company's culture revolves around creating a family-friendly environment where employees are valued and encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. As part of its ongoing expansion and dedication to excellence, Wendy's continuously seeks individuals who exhibit leadership potential, passion for hospitality, and a strong work ethic to join their team.
This particular opportunity is for the position of Shift Manager, a pivotal role within Wendy's restaurant operations. Shift Managers act as leaders and role models who set the tone for a positive and productive work environment, ensuring that teams function effectively to deliver superior customer service and operational efficiency. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and leading the restaurant team through daily activities, fostering collaboration, and motivating employees to meet and exceed performance goals. This role requires an individual who is career-minded, motivated, and skilled at interpersonal communication to build a cohesive team that drives profitability and customer satisfaction.
The Shift Manager position offers competitive hourly pay between $17.50 and $19.00, flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance, and a stable working environment supportive of career advancement. Many of Wendy's leaders have advanced from Shift Manager roles, highlighting the substantial growth potential available. The company supports your career pathway by providing the necessary training, skill development, and opportunities to step into higher responsibilities as they arise. Additional benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, life insurance options, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match benefits.
In this role, you'll embrace a "Customer First" ethos by ensuring every team member is aligned with providing exceptional service and upholding brand standards. The Shift Manager's responsibilities include promoting food safety culture, adhering to operational policies, using restaurant equipment effectively, and maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment. A willingness to obtain ServSafe certification is required to guarantee compliance with food safety regulations.
Successful candidates will demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, flexibility in work availability, and a commitment to developing their team members. Supportive of diversity and inclusion, Wendy's encourages qualified individuals from all backgrounds to apply. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel occasionally to other locations for training are also necessary.
