Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one to two years of hospitality experience with supervisory duties
  • certification or willingness to complete ServSafe and Responsible Alcohol Training
  • knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and sanitation standards
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to use computers and Microsoft Office
  • ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 25 pounds
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • eligibility to obtain and maintain non-gaming license
  • pass pre-employment background check and licensing processes

Job Qualifications

  • Possess complete knowledge of all job procedures
  • have outstanding interpersonal communication skills
  • one to two years of experience in hospitality with at least one year in a supervisory role or equivalent training
  • certification in ServSafe (Food Sanitation Management) and Responsible Alcohol Training within 90 days of employment
  • adequate knowledge of beer, wine, and spirit offerings and industry trends
  • proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office applications
  • ability to understand and communicate Safety Data Sheets
  • cooperative, helpful, and friendly nature
  • ability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends
  • ability to fulfill pre-employment and licensing requirements successfully

Job Duties

  • Ensure all guests are served promptly, professionally, and courteously
  • build relationships with guests and lead team members to deliver superior service
  • ensure proper staffing for forecasted volume and budgetary guidelines
  • communicate any problems or concerns to manager or other departments as needed
  • cultivate and enforce company and department policies and procedures
  • notify and train team members on changes in policy and procedure
  • maintain thorough communication between shifts
  • work well as a team with Food & Beverage leaders and throughout the property
  • complete all administrative responsibilities thoroughly
  • monitor business levels and adjust staffing as necessary
  • assist trainers in properly training new team members
  • assist team members in their duties as needed
  • maintain awareness of services, promotions, and events and communicate this to team members
  • maintain high sanitation standards and ensure compliance with Board of Health regulations
  • maintain sufficient materials and products in the work location
  • set high standards by complying with departmental rules, policies, and procedures
  • ensure all team members are treated fairly and consistently
  • maintain professional grooming and appearance as a role model
  • perform any other duties assigned by director or executive management
  • coach and train on policies and procedures
  • directly communicate with Food & Beverage director on menu changes
  • review and analyze food and beverage costs
  • understand and manage profit and loss statements
  • assist in recruiting and recommending new team members for hire
  • develop, train, and guide outlet chefs and supervisors
  • ensure overall outlet is run efficiently including sanitation, cost, and labor
  • perform all other duties as assigned
