The opportunity to join Jamba Hawaii as a Shift Manager offers a vibrant and engaging role where leadership meets aloha spirit. As a Shift Manager, you will be at the forefront of day-to-day operations, ensuring the store maintains high standards of food quality, customer service, cleanliness, and safety. Your role is pivotal in keeping the energy high, motivating the team, and making certain that every guest enjoys their experience from start to finish. When the General Manager or Assistant Manager is unavailable, you will step up to steer the store seamlessly, handling challenges ranging from team coordination to supplier issues and guest concerns with professionalism and aplomb. The role requires availability for 20-40 hours per week with flexibility to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include being a key holder, opening and closing the store, and participating in ongoing training and development through Jamba Hawaii’s Whirl’d Class programs. Job Requirements
- minimum age 18
- at least 3-6 months of relatable first-line supervisory experience
- flexible availability including weeknights, weekends, holidays
- tb clearance required
- 0–1 year experience in food service or retail
- ability to stand, bend, scoop, and move throughout your shift
- comfortable in cold environments such as walk-in fridge and freezer
- basic math and computer skills including Microsoft and POS
- ability to taste-test products for quality
- cash handling and customer service skills preferred
- current food handler certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- high school diploma or equivalent experience
- tech-savvy with smartphones, tablets, and POS systems
Job Qualifications
